Hi Rachel, I have built a virtual closet app that enables people to shop within their closet. The swapping is a future feature that will be part of the app, as it allows people to swap their clothes locally.

This is a high level overview of how the base app works.

As someone who ran a resale business for a while, this is really clever. I truly think unlocking people’s closets is the key to truly getting people to shop resale first (plus, getting the logistics right so that it’s as easy and seamless and shopping first hand). This would make a huuuge difference in both, and on a personal level I wish this existed (I am still waiting on a specific Triangl bikini to appear in some platform, somewhere)

Thanks Bea, that's so good to hear from someone who knows resale from the inside. And I love that you've ended with an example - I've had a LOT of DMs from people listing out the specific item they are still after so anecdotally can prove it would be a success 😂

I know this is a vision for the Indyx app. You can view someone’s closet right now, in the future I think they hope to use that functionality to sell and rent clothes.

Love this - the tech exists to make it happen, just needs setting up...

Right?! It's all about data and good customer service, most of which is already place in modernised luxury.
