A final career interview for the year and it's a goodun!
This final career interview for 2024 is not only with one of my favourite people in sustainable fashion (and everyone else’s for that matter!), but it comes just in the nick of time as she hangs up one hat and steps into a new role ahead.
Monica Buchan-Ng until this month has been the Head of Knowledge Exchange at the Centre for Sustainable Fashion (CSF) at the London College of Fashion. In this role, she leads their work with industry partners, CSF team members and the wider University of the Arts London community to bring co-created sustainability projects to life. She came to CSF from various roles in industry within the advertising and communications space, but her background is a mix of socially engaged practice and sustainable fashion — all led by a fascination with economics.
Next, she will head over to Textile Exchange to become their Industry Activation Lead. In this really honest and open interview, Monica chats with her about her work to date and all that she has been leading with CSF, including details of her latest launch before departure on the Governance for Tomorrow programme…
